Working Principle
In thefiltration process,slurry is pumped into the filter.The liquid phase of theslurry passes through the microporous filtertubes into the
center of thefilterelements,where it is gathered and discharged as clean liquid.Before afilter cake forms,the discharged “clean liquid”is recirculated back to the slurry inlet forfurtherfiltration until thefilter cake reaches the desired level,ensuring that thefiltration
requirements are met.Once this point is reached,a signal stopsthe recirculation ofthe clean liquid,whichisthen directed to the next step of the process for normal filtration.
After runningfor a period oftime,once thefilter cake on the microporous filtertubes has reached a predetermined thickness,the system will automatically signal the stop of the feed.The residual liquid is drained from thefilter,and the system then activates backwashing with
compressed air,nitrogen,orsaturated steam to detach thefilter cake.After backwashingfor a specifiedtime,the backwashing processhalts, and the discharge portis opened to expel the sludge.Afterthe sludge removal processis complete,the discharge portis closed,and the
system returns to its initial state,ready for the next filtration cycle.
