This family is intentionally separate from closed-plate diatomite systems. Selection depends on slurry properties, cake objective, cycle time, plate area and cloth compatibility.
Select the press from slurry behaviour and the required cake.
Plate area alone does not define a press. Feed solids, compressibility, filtration rate, washing, squeeze requirement and discharge handling determine the architecture and cycle.
Set the separation objective
Prioritize filtrate clarity, solids recovery, cake dryness, washing efficiency or a balanced result.
Characterize the slurry
Record solids concentration, particle distribution, compressibility, abrasiveness, temperature and chemical compatibility.
Build the cycle
Define filling, filtration, washing, air blow, membrane squeeze, plate opening and cake discharge expectations.
Choose automation
Confirm plate size, cloth, hydraulic closure, drip collection, plate shifting and operator access.
